Welcome to The Social Table, the place where good food and fun people get together to share a meal, a glass of wine and the experience of cooking.
In this hectic city it’s hard to remember what a good meal shared with friends can do to change your perspective. The Social Table works at bringing people together around a table to share in the joys of fresh food, good wine and an adventure in cooking.
Looking to learn some basic culinary skills while enjoying wine, good company and delicious food?

Growing up in Southern California, some of Rebecca Goldfarb’s greatest childhood memories are of cooking a meal with her mother and sitting down to enjoy it with the rest of the family. Meals at the Goldfarb house were rooted in tradition and always brought people together. That sense of cooking and sharing stuck with Rebecca.
While studying Art History in college, Rebecca’s passion for food was always with her. She would host dinner parties for her friends who would take turns choosing the menu. Word started to spread of Rebecca’s famous dinner parties and chairs were continually added to the table. Her enthusiasm for cooking and hospitality was infectious and she knew she had to pursue a career in food. She headed back to California where she received a Culinary Arts degree from the Le Cordon Bleu certified California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.
After a few years working “front of the house” at restaurants Rebecca moved to New York and started The Social Table to get people into the kitchen and excited about cooking.
